IU student?

we’d love to have you!

“why should I join the club?”

Our club provides people with an open environment to play and enjoy music with others. Meeting musicians can be difficult; we make it easy. BDMC serves as a safe space for anyone to learn and grow as a musician in a noncompetitive, supportive environment. There are a plethora of other musicians at IU who simply want to jam, gig or talk about the genres we love. Our goal is to connect them. All genres and skill levels are welcome.

At this point in our development, the club now expands into a wide array of musical avenues. Anything from marketing, audio engineering, photography, video production and blogs occur within our repertoire, so if you are interested in honing those skills, BDMC is the place for you! Come jam, perform, produce, and become a part of our community!

all skill levels welcome.

Just picking up an instrument? Seasoned guitar hero? Shower singer extraordinaire? Our community has musicians of all levels who can teach you the basics, help you fine tune your craft, and everything in between.

what people are saying

“BDMC has made college ten times better for me. It’s given me a way to freely exercise my creativity and grow as both a musician and person. For one, I never thought I’d have the confidence to sing in front of people, but BDMC changed that entirely. Hopefully the club can be a positive space for others as well.”

— Zack Berger (Junior)

“I love BDMC so much because my fellow members are my friends, too. They are so uplifting, encouraging, talented, AND so helpful that it's hard to not feel valued. I really enjoy all the various opportunities BDMC provides: gigs, recording, even just chatting, with fellow music fanatics is incredible!”
